Come in search with Australia Zoo’s Big Cats Supervisor Giles Clark & Wildlife Safari’s on the search for Tigers, Elephants, King Cobra’s and many other species on this amazing trip through India. Giles Clark, Australia Zoo's International Conservation manager has always had a strong connection with tigers and India. Over the course of his 16 year career of working with big cats in captivity, one thing that is evident is his passion for their conservation. As well as working in zoos around the world, Giles has also spent 2 years living and working in central India, trying to make a contribution to a in-situ tiger conservation program that worked to assist the forest department and engage local communities. Giles now spend several weeks a year visiting the zoo's on the ground conservation partners and their programs in S.E Asia. Giles also holds the position of Supervisor for Australia Zoo's Tiger Department, a hands-on, interactive tiger facility that focuses on their conservation and began at Australia Zoo when we got our very first tiger cubs. In the five and a half years since, he has worked extensively to develop Australia Zoo's tiger section, which now has 11 tigers, including both Bengal and Sumatran sub-species.
