Morning Camel Ride along Cable Beach

Walking down to the boat at Willie Creek Pearl Farm

This took us out to Sentosa Fishing Charters boat
I flew to the gorgeous Broome in Western Australia on the 13th May for 4 nights and stayed at Cable Beach Resort in one of their bungalows.
The weather was amazing, just perfect. We generally had days in the late 20's and total sunshine the whole time. Having this and staying right on Cable Beach made this trip a holiday to remember.
Cable Beach Resort is a couple of kilometres out of the main centre of town, however the Resort has a shuttle bus that can take you in and there are lots of day tours that you can do.
The first morning there we walked down to the Beach for a Camel Ride along the beach. The morning was beautiful and it was such an enjoyable and peaceful ride along the beach. The guys from Red Sun Camels walked along side of us and introduced our camels to us plus gave us a little history on our Camel along with a little info on Cable Beach.
After breakfast we were taken to Willie Creek Pearl Farm. Now I must admit, I never really had much of a fascination of pearls, and wasnt really looking forward to the tour. However it was a fantastic tour and I definately recommend it to everyone that visits the area. Not only was the water at this location the most beautiful blue you've ever seen but there was so much to learn on the history and the processes to what goes into the Pearls that i found very fascinating.
Then onto lunch at the Mangrove Resort looking over Roebuck Bay the best place to see the natural phenomenon the Staircase to the Moon that can be seen between March to October. Unfortunately we missed it by a couple of days.
We went to Matso's Brewery to learn a little on their unique history. And Pearl Luggers, to learn a little more on the Pearling History. Also a visit to Japenese Cemetary and a Mango Farm.
There are so many other amazing tours that you can do from Broome like: Cape Laveque or Sindjana Gorge & Tunnel Creek.
We had plenty of time for shopping and a visit to the local Markets, but I must say my favourite part of the trip was the second last day onboard Sentosa Fishing Charters. We didnt fish we cruised up and down cable beach taking in the views and enjoying the total sunshine, very relaxing.
