Australia Zoo’s latest exhibit, Elephantasia, is the BIGGEST Asian Elephant facility in Australia. What a ripper! This expansive, luxurious and stimulating home for elephants Siam, Sabu and Bimbo is also an artistic masterpiece, and home to the Zoo’s daily afternoon elephant feed. There is also a morning feed across from Cootha the wooden croc; both sessions are FREE!
Right next to Elephantasia is the amazing Tiger Temple. Built to resemble the famous Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia, Tiger Temple is a work of art as well as an architectural first – Tiger Temple boasts the southern hemisphere’s only underwater viewing of tigers!
Make sure you’re in the Animal Planet Crocoseum at 11:00am and 2:00pm – that’s when the REAL action begins!
